This should be a fairly simple question to answer. There are various ways to creating a design for your vtuber model, however, I find that mixing words and providing pictures are the best way to convey your ideas to not only yourself, but to anyone whom you may be working with to working on your model. The contents are my own personal notes and may change from time to time. But yeah it wouldn't hurt to consider making standalone how to animate videos using Live2D for others who are not looking to make Vtuber models. This guide is used as a means to share my own work process to planning and materializing vtuber models. I plan in the near future to develop another series of advanced tutorials on how to rig a human Live2D Model for Facerig! Most of what would be covered can still heavily apply to animating artwork too. The reason for this is because I believe starting small is the best way to understand the logic of the parameters and the Live2D software in general, as well as how to animate something that's a bit easier than jumping right into the deep-end straight away. Though I understand that my character is not as complex as say an anime or human character as a whole. However the principles I covered in my videos still pretty much apply to artists wanting to only animate their art and not use them for Vtubing purposes! The piecing apart process in my first video still applies, whether it's one character or two or three etc.! My focus has been making Live2D Vtuber model tutorials for Facerig so far mostly because I feel there's not many videos that pinpoint this exact area with a link to the Facerig software (or other facial recognition software like it). Thank you so much Atamihs, means the world! So happy to hear that my videos have helped so far! :D r/vtubertech /r/VtubeStudio /r/VirtualYoutubers Similar subs that likely fit your question better: IF YOUR POST IS NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO LIVE2D MODEL ART OR RIGGING, IT MAY BE REMOVED.
